Chicken Alfredo is a classic pasta dish that brings everyone together! Seasoned chicken breasts are seared until golden brown and then simmered in a homemade alfredo sauce. Toss with fettuccine noodles for a creamy chicken pasta dish that is perfect for any dinner occasion!

Ingredients

  • 2 Smart Chicken Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Cooked fettuccine noodles for serving

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the seasoned salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary and oregano. Evenly season both sides of the chicken breasts with the seasoning mix.

Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Sear the chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides, about a few minutes on each side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add the butter to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Add in the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Gently whisk in the heavy cream and bring to a low simmer.

Add in the Parmesan cheese and whisk constantly for about 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and thickened the sauce. Keeping it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Nestle the chicken back into the sauce and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is completely cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the sauce and slice. Toss the alfredo sauce with prepared fettuccine noodles and serve with the sliced chicken over top. Enjoy!
