Chili Soy Chicken Skewers

These Chili Soy Chicken Skewers have so much flavor and comes together with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Smart Chicken Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

  • 2 Tablespoons Dark Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon Low Sodium Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon Gochujang

  • 1 Tablespoon Spicy Chili Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce

  • 1 cup Scallions, chopped

  • 4 Garlic Cloves, grated

  • Wooden Skewers (soaked in water for 20 minutes)

  • Kosher Salt

  • Vegetable Oil

  • Sesame Seeds, to garnish

Directions

Cut each chicken thigh into about 6 pieces and place into a container. Combine chicken, soy sauces, gochujang, chili sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and scallions and evenly coat the chicken. Store the chicken in the fridge for one hour to marinate. After an hour, skewer the chicken pieces and season very lightly with kosher salt.

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Bring a pan to medium high heat with some oil and sear the chicken skewers for about 1-2 minutes per side. Transfer the seared chicken skewers to a sheet tray and finish cooking in the oven for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve!
