Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Smart Chicken party wings

  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

  • 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Directions

For the Sauce: Melt butter, add minced garlic and stir to allow garlic to soften. Stir in grated parmesan cheese and parsley. Mix well and combine with wings while still warm.

For the Wings: While wings are still hot after baking, air frying or grilling or frying, place warm garlic parmesan mixture on wings. Garnish with additional parsley and parmesan cheese.

For Baked Wings

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a baking rack on top of the baking sheet. Using clean hands, remove chicken wings from package and place on the baking rack (which should be placed on the baking sheet). Using a dry paper towel, remove any moisture on wings by blotting them with the paper towel. Sprinkle a light layer of Kosher salt and black pepper unless a seasoning rub has been applied. Place in the oven and cook for 45-50 minutes or until a temperature of 165°F is reached. For sauced wings, remove wings after 40 minutes and place a coat of the sauce on the wings. Return to oven and cook an additional 5-10 minutes being careful not to burn. Serve with leftover wing sauce for dipping.

For Air Fried Wings

Please consult the cooking guidelines provided by the manufacturer for your air fryer and check the recommendations for wings and poultry.

Start by lightly salting each wing and spraying with a small amount of canola cooking spray. Place 5-6 wings (thawed) in the oven chamber of your air fryer. Be sure to not overcrowd your air fryer as overcrowding can impact the cooking quality. Cook for 20 minutes at 370°F. After wings have cooked for 20 minutes, remove from the oven chamber and coat with wing sauce. Return wings to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3 minutes at 370°F. Remove wings from air fryer, coat with another layer of sauce and serve immediately.

For Grilled Wings

Heat grill to medium heat. Place wings on grill and rotate every 5 minutes to avoid burning while brushing with more of the sauce. Grill until hot all the way through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

For Fried Wings

In a large pan or electric fryer, heat vegetable oil to 375°F. Carefully drop the wings into the hot oil with a slotted spoon and fry until the internal temperature of the chicken registers 165°F on a digital thermometer, around 8 to 10 minutes. Remove chicken from oil and transfer to paper towels. Transfer wings to a large mixing bowl; pour the sauce over the wings. Toss wings in sauce until completely coated. Transfer to a serving tray and garnish.
