This hearty breakfast skillet contains Smart Chicken Breakfast Sausage, breakfast potatoes, peppers and onions. Split with a friend or serve as a side for Sunday brunch.
Ingredients
5 links Smart Chicken Country Breakfast Sausage, coined
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups frozen breakfast potatoes
1 green bell pepper, small dice
1 red bell pepper, small dice
½ medium white onion, small dice
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil. Add breakfast potatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes or until potatoes have warmed. (Optional: Cook potatoes in the airy fryer without oil and add to cooked pepper & onion mixture.) Add peppers and onion to skillet and continue to cook until onions are softened. Add breakfast sausage and cook until sausage is hot. Season to taste with Kosher salt and pepper if desired.
